Joseph Parker has a plan. He was determined to beat Daniel Dubois to become a two-time heavyweight champion and ultimately win the undisputed world heavyweight title.

Promoter Frank Warren has suggested Dubois could face the winner of Usyk vs Fury 2 in 2025, but Parker and his team are confident the New Zealander can upset the IBF champion.

Dubois had a huge performance in his last fight when he knocked out Anthony Joshua.
“He has shown tremendous ability and I will never underestimate Daniel Dubois who is on a rampage destroying Anthony Joshua if he wants to,” Higgins admitted.
“Although we think Joshua may have made Dubois look better than he was. It wasn’t the best Anthony Joshua. It seemed a little tentative and it was Anthony Joshua who didn’t really want to be there. It definitely made Dubois look that way. Amazing power.
“We think Joseph will be a handful for Dubois and win that night.”
Parker is determined to win and eventually fight for all the belts that will be contested by Usyk and Fury later this month.

Trainer Adam Booth says he expects to see a much-improved Tyson Fury in his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk on December 21.
“Joseph wants to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. He will give everything until the day he retires, so I would be lying if I didn’t say that is the goal,” Higgins said.
“He wants to beat Dubois, he wants to fight someone who holds the other belt and try to unify.”

In the long run, if Parker wins, he will have his sights set on the winner of Usyk-Fury Dec. 21. But the rematch is well balanced.
“It’s very difficult to call that fight. I think Usyk is one of the greatest boxers of all time. So is Tyson Fury,” Higgins said.
“You saw what happened in the second Fury-Wilder fight: Tyson Fury got bigger and overpowered Wilder and destroyed him.

“I think Tyson could have sounded the alarm in the first fight and if he had focused on that mindset it could have all been over. He could have won the fight.
“But you never know, Usyk is a technical genius and an assassin. It’s a fascinating matchup and very worthy of a rematch.”
