Julian Assange has begun his journey back to Australia after agreeing to a US plea deal.
The WikiLeaks founder has left a British prison and is flying to the Northern Mariana Islands via Bangkok to finalize the deal.
Assange was charged with conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information after the WikiLeaks site released secret U.S. military records.
