Ker & Downey starts a high -end safari camp at Botswana’s Okavango Delta: Travel Weekly

KER & DOWNEY BOTSWANA expanded its high -end safari portfolio with the opening ceremony of MAXA, a camp in the remote northeastern part of Okavango Delta. The camp welcomed my first guest in March.

In the maxa lagoon, an intimate building located under the canopy of ebony, Marula and Leadwood Trees accommodates 12 guests in five tents, including one family unit. The fee starts at $ 700 per person and is completely comprehensive.

Walter Smith, a sales director of Ker & Downey Botswana, said, “For the past year, we have observed amazing wild animals, including the large zebras of floodmen and the seasonal movement of the elephant.

This location provides a transparent waterway supplied by Okavango PanHandle, so it’s rarely found in the Safari Camp. Activities include cultural experiences with walking safari, day and night game drives, and local BukakhWe tribes.
