Kylian MBAPPE is receiving gastroenteritis treatment at a hospital, Real Madrid announced.
MBAPPE missed the opening club World Cup against Real Madrid with the Saudi Arabian Side Al Hilal on Wednesday.
The statement said, “Our player Kylian MBAPPé has acute gastroenteritis and has been hospitalized for various tests and treatment.”
MBAPPE played an important role for Real Madrid this season and scored 31 goals in a famous summer in St. Germain, Paris.
Real Madrid has dominated European football for the past 10 years and has won five of the last 10 Champions League titles, but has raised 1-1 with Al Hilal and 1-1 without MBAPPE.
According to the NHS website, gastroenteritis is often a light camouflage bug, which is often characterized by diarrhea and vomiting related to food poisoning. In general, it takes less than a week.
Madrid faced North Carolina’s Faru Kuka and returned to the Club World Cup action.
