Lake Taiwan burst into the most powerful storm barrel of the year toward China.

Firefighters said that after the lake burst into the bank with a super typhoon, two people died in the eastern Taiwan and more scores were trapped or missing.

Barrier Lake, where the previous landslides were formed, went bankrupt on Tuesday afternoon and sent water to the village of Guangfu near Hualien County’s Guangfu.

Rescue stands are heading throughout Taiwan. Super Typhoon Ragasa is the most powerful storm of 2025 and is currently standing on the southern coast of China.

It landed in Guangdong on Wednesday, evacuated by about 370,000 people, and many schools and companies closed. Hong Kong has upgraded the typhoon warning to the maximum level 10.

Ragasa-At the highest point on Monday, Ragasa, a category of up to 285 km/h (177 mph), has triggered a warning of floods, storms and landslides this week.

Taiwan was caught on the edge of Laga from Monday. According to Reuters, the island recorded almost 60cm (24 inches) of rain from the east due to the typhoon.

Burst Lake was washed and rooted in Hualien County. The video showed fast moving water through this area.

“In some areas, the water was as high as the second floor of the house and a weak place in the town center where the water was retreating in some areas.

“When the river suddenly rose, about 263 people were trapped and climbed to a higher land. They are not immediately at risk, but they are very worried about high water.”

Six people were injured in other places in Taiwan, perryed service, and more than 100 international flights were canceled as Ragasa passed.

Chinese authorities warn up to 5 meters of storms. As the authorities warned of the “fatal” situation, about 370,000 people have evacuated in Guangdong.

On Tuesday, Hong Kong’s supermarket shelf wiped fresh bread, vegetables, meat and instant noodles as residents prepared to drive out.

Hong Kong International Airport said on Tuesday that it is expected to be “significant chaos of flight operation” from 18:00 local time (10:00 GMT) to the next day.

Hong Kong Airlines said more than 500 Cathay Pacific flights are expected to be canceled, and Hong Kong Airlines will stop all departures in the city.

Ragasa was called “King of Storm” by China’s Meteorological Agency and is expected to move to Northern Vietnam and potentially affect millions.

In the southern city of China, the shop owner built a sandbag in front of the store to reach the storm, and the residents of the lowlands next to the sea front were especially concerned about the surge.

Many people also made the windows of home and business into tape and hoped to prevent their destruction.

This part of southern China and Hong Kong is often used to use typhoons frequently, but the position of the storm can make the impact worse.

The right side of Ragasa is known as “dirty side” as it approaches Hong Kong and Guangdong, and will hit this area. “Dirty side” can be much more destructive than the left. This is because the movement of the storm is added to the background circulation of the typhoon.

The combination of these two movements is where the most destructive winds are found. In addition, this wind will push the water from the inland and the storm will be greater.

It is not yet clear how much climate change has influenced Ragasa. But according to UN scientists, the warming world is expected to make tropical storms such as typhoons and hurricanes more intense.

This can decrease the number of typhoons across the East Asia and Southeast Asia, but the risk of wind speed, rainfall and flooding is increased.

Ragasa also killed at least one person as thousands of families were evacuated before the storm began through a remote island in northern Philippines on Monday.

Schools and government offices, including the capital Manila, have been closed in many regions of the country.

Ragasa said in Hong Kong that “a serious threat will be caused,” Eric Chan, the executive minister of the city, compared it with the other two typhoons that left the trace of serious destruction.

SUPER TYPHOON MANGKHUT-200 people were injured, feasted and wrecked in the most intense typhoon for the current city, and the Meteorological Agency estimated the economic loss of $ 4.6 billion ($ 592m: £ 438m).

In 2017, typhoon Hato caused a serious flood and injured more than 100 people in the city.
