Lando Norris: MCLAREN Driver is a team that the team moves forward than Bahrain Grand Prix | F1 news

Lando Norris admitted that Mclaren should take more risks in a specific scenario after reviewing how Max VestAppen was lost in the Japanese Grand Prix.

Norris followed VERSTAPPEN along the 53 laps in Suzuka last Sunday, followed by the vestappen, including the pits of abnormal squeaking in the same rap.

The MCLAREN driver said he was beaten early to write VERSTAPPEN, and he said, “I will always be in traffic jams.”

Norris, who finished the McLaren team fellow Oscar Piaestri, said, “Is there a risk of boxing and winning behind more cars?

“But we still have second and third place, we still have more points for the constructor, and I still have good results as a point driver, but I have lost Max, and at that moment he is my main competitor, but there were many reviews.

“We weren’t happy since last weekend. The second and third are the great results, but have potentially better results, potentially more dangerous and have attacked a little more as a team?

“At the end of the day, I keep our approach to that weekend, but the review of this weekend should sometimes be attacked a little more.”

Norris: You need to win in the race

Last year, MCLAREN missed the race victory of Montreal, Silverstone and Sao Paulo due to strategic mistakes.

Each of the Grand Prix, VestAppen was behind Norris, but was ahead of his rival with a checkered flag.

Suzuka thus reminded me that MCLAREN still needs to be improved, especially for the strategic race of Red Bull and VERSTAPPEN.

Norris, who leads VERSTAPPEN ahead of Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend, strategically says it is “more powerful or demanding” on the radio strategically in a certain scenario.

The F1 show podcast panel discusses whether MCLAREN could do more so that the driver could catch VestAppen in the Japanese GP.

“Sometimes, I think I would like to take more risks to win. It’s not always guaranteed.”

“There may be a place where we go. I am trapped or the Oscar weakens me, or the price of another driver excessively pulling me up or overly repulses me, and the risk does not gain my favor and actually loses its position at the end of the day.

“Sometimes you have to admit that it can be true. It is not a bad result to accept the second, but you should not win the second and do not settle for the second time.

“Obviously, on my side, I want to go back to a slightly more aggressive approach and rebuild it, but I know deeply that it’s a long season, and sometimes the point of the board is better than taking the risk of unnecessary.”

McLaren’s Principal Andrea Stella explains why Oscar Piatri has not ordered Oscar Piatri to change his position with Noris despite Australia’s radio messages.

VERSTAPPEN expects Red Bull to be competitive in Bahrain.

VestAppen won second place in Australia on Sunday, fourth in China and an amazing victory in Japan.

The ruling world champion has dominated Bahrain Grand Prix for the past two years, but McLaren now has a car to win the car and I think the hot temperature will be against Red Bull.

“The first odor in Australia was destroyed by overheating and tire deterioration in China,” he said.

“I can say to Suzuka to some extent, but you can’t pass through. Lando was closing to me at the end of the first thing, and I knew it was coming.

Norris and VestAppen reacts to a pit conflict in the Japanese Grand Prix.

“I was just driving at my own speed, but I think it was a little help because the track (temperature) fell a little that day.

“Here it will be hotter in Bahrain. We have an aggressive runway. So on paper, in what we see, so far, it is not ideal for us compared to Mclaren.

“Of course, it is up to us to find the improvement of cars and tire behaviors.”

Bahrain International Circuit has traditionally did not affect McLaren’s strengths. In fact, the team has never won the race since joining the F1 calendar in 2004.

When you get out of the pit, reproduce the conflict between Norris and VestAppen and fight for lead in suzuka, leaving Noris on the grass.

Norris expects “strong competition” by Red Bull and Ferrari this weekend.

“I think our benefits will be reduced compared to previous weekends. The demanding tracks, slow speed circuits were not advantageous to us, and the car is a difficult state compared to what we had potentially last year,” he said.

“I still expect the competition with Ferrari, Mercedes, and even midfield packs will be a bit closer to us this weekend, so I look forward to a difficult weekend. I don’t expect an easy weekend.

“Yes, the car is good, the team is doing amazing work, but it’s as close as I watched last weekend.

“Red Bull is also a good car, Max is Max, Charles and Lewis, and others look forward to strong competition.”
