Did you know about Walmart’s loyalty program that allows anyone with a Walmart.com account to earn cashback rewards after shopping for everyday items? 😱 Previously a benefit only available to paid Walmart+ members, now anyone can earn Walmart Cash rewards!
There are hundreds of items offering rewards across all categories, including groceries, personal care, household items, toys, entertainment, and more. I’m not even talking about store brand items. Get discounts on the most popular brands, including P&G, Unilever, SC Johnson, and Mattel. Many of these benefits are available exclusively at Walmart.
Some of these products may also have cashback offers from Ibotta. However, you cannot claim Walmart Rewards and Ibotta rebates at the same time. Additionally, pricing and availability may vary by region.

What is Walmart Cash?
Walmart Cash, previously named Walmart Rewards, is an easy way to earn cash back on purchases sent to your Walmart.com account. It’s really one of the easiest cashback programs out there because you don’t have to take a picture of your receipt or upload anything. Clip the “Get Walmart Cash” offer on the product page and add the product to your cart.
When reward items are purchased, delivered or picked up, the value of each item reward is credited to your Walmart Cash balance. You can then use the balance toward future purchases at Walmart stores or online. It’s really simple!
Log in to your Walmart account to see all your current rewards. Walmart Cash offers may vary by location and may have different expiration dates, so be sure to check the details.

Save easily when you shop at Walmart stores or online!
When shopping online, you can find and add reward items through the Walmart Cash Center, search bar, or product page. When you find an item you want, click “Get Walmart Cash” to save it to your account. If you shop in-store, you can use the barcode scanner in the Walmart app to find and add product rewards. You can also get all the details about each offer by clicking on the circled ‘i’.
When you purchase, pick up, or have items delivered, the Walmart Cash you earn will appear in your Walmart Cash balance. You can check this balance in your Walmart Account Wallet and Walmart Cash Center.
Forgot to scan the QR code in-store? are you okay!
To receive your item reward, you may scan your receipt barcode within 7 days of purchase. To do this, log in to your Walmart account in the app, go to Walmart Cash Tools and tap “Submit Receipt.” Scan the barcode on your store receipt. Your Walmart Rewards balance will then be credited along with your product rewards.

To use your Walmart Cash balance, make sure you’re logged in to your Walmart account online or in the app. Scan the Walmart Pay QR code with the Walmart app or your phone at checkout.
If you shop online, tap “Apply Walmart Cash” in the Wallet section to repay your Walmart Cash balance and select your preferred payment method for the remaining amount.
Walmart Cash balances cannot be used to purchase gift cards, prescription products, pharmacy purchases, optical products and services, alcohol, tobacco, firearms and ammunition products, lottery tickets, or financial services. Full terms and conditions for Walmart Cash can be found here.
Walmart now has the option to cash out your rewards!
Walmart Cash cannot be used outside of Walmart and has no cash value on future purchases until redeemed at Walmart. However, if your balance is $25 or more, you can now convert Walmart Cash to: actual cash! Here’s how:
- Log in to your Walmart account and select Next. Get more Visit your Walmart Cash page next to your Walmart Cash balance.
- Under Walmart Cash Tools In-store cash withdrawal.
- faucet Cash withdrawal barcode display Create a barcode for the employee to scan.
- Visit the MoneyCenter or Customer Service Desk at any store.
- Please show the staff your barcode and valid ID.
The maximum Walmart Cash amount you can withdraw per day is $100.
In my opinion, this is another amazing benefit of being a Walmart+ member. I initially signed up as a monthly member. Once I realized how often I used it, I jumped at the annual membership discount and never looked back. The program benefits continue to grow, and as a long-time Ibotta user, nothing is easier than checking the box and making your purchase!
