Nothing but bunt pop tarts
Nothing Bundt Cakes has partnered with Pop-Tarts to bring the popular breakfast staple to life as a cake.
The specialty cake maker is developing a Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tart flavor that will be available at more than 600 of the brand's bakeries nationwide through September 1, while supplies last.
Each personal-sized cake is topped with our signature cream cheese frosting, confetti sprinkles and frosted strawberry Pop-Tart pastry bites.
“Our collaboration with Pop-Tarts adds a classic, nostalgic flavor to Bundtlets to create a unique treat,” Claire Jesson, VP of culinary at Nothing Bundt Cakes, said in a statement. “Our insanely delicious Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts flavor is reminiscent of coming home from school hungry and grabbing a satisfying, sweet treat from the pantry to keep you happy until dinnertime.”
For Kellanova, which owns Pop-Tarts, this partnership expands its influence among the younger consumers who are important for the future by including the brand in Bundt. It also extends Pop-Tarts beyond the morning snack time when it is most well-known.
Michelle Barnes, commercial strategy director at Kellanova Away From Home, said this would help “show that the iconic brand doesn’t just belong on toasters, but can be used to transform menus and provide inspiration for unique concepts.”
