Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a blast for bacon
Hormel’s Black Label Bacon has teamed up with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal to launch a product that combines sweet and savory.
Limited Edition Bacon It has a crispy, sweet crust with cinnamon, sugar and salt. It is made by coating thick bacon with cinnadust seasoning and leaving it overnight for optimal flavor. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bacon is Black Label’s first co-branded product.
According to Hormel, Black Label Cinnamon Toast Crunch is designed to be eaten as a snack or mixed with other foods.
“Sweet and savory is a classic combination, and pairing BLACK LABEL BACON with our CINNADUST seasoning blend is a natural choice to deliver the incredible flavor our fans love in even more ways,” said Brandon Tyrrell, senior marketing manager for Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal, in a statement.
Black Label Cinnamon Toast Crunch will be available at select Walmart stores beginning September 16. In the coming weeks, the product will move to select Kroger stores while supplies last.

Krispy Kreme turns pink

To celebrate the 65th anniversary of the iconic American doll, Mattel’s Barbie has teamed up with Krispy Kreme to introduce four all-new donuts featuring doll-inspired designs and flavors.
The four sweets are:
- The Barbie Pink Donut is a glazed donut drizzled with pink buttercream, sprinkled with sparkly pink sugar, and topped with Barbie sunglasses.
- The Malibu Dream Party Donut is a matte shell donut filled with cake batter cream, drizzled with Malibu blue icing and glittery graham sand, topped with a Barbie Dreamhouse piece and topped with a white cloud shape.
- The Barbie Berries & Cream Donut is a matte-crusted donut filled with strawberry cream, dipped in white icing, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream, and topped with a Barbie heart.
- The Barbie Sweet 65th Donut is a glazed donut covered in chocolate icing and topped with Barbie Sweet 65.
All donuts are available for a limited time at select Krispy Kreme locations.

This isn’t the first time Krispy Kreme has partnered with a famous fictional character. Last year, the North Carolina-based chain teamed up with Scooby Doo to create a Halloween donut based on the crime-fighting dog and his friends.
