Lemala Camps and Lodges has announced plans to open a new 20-suite luxury lodge along the rim of Tanzania's Ngorongoro Crater in March 2025. Named Lemala Osonjoi, the lodge will offer guests exclusive access to the renowned wildlife habitat via a private road.
The property's prime location, just 250 meters from Lemala's existing camp, allows guests to be the first to arrive at the crater floor each morning and the last to leave each evening. According to the company, this will provide travelers with excellent game viewing opportunities.
In addition to its strategic location, Lemala Osonjoi features charming suites and amenities such as a solar-heated swimming pool overlooking the crater. Large windows are designed to maximize light and showcase dramatic views.
Lemala said the lodge will offer a truly immersive experience rooted in Tanzanian culture.
