
Liverpool won 2-1 in a pre-season match against Arsenal in Philadelphia thanks to first-half goals from Mohamed Salah and Fabio Carvalho.
In the 13th minute, Salah evaded the Arsenal defenders and fired the winner low into the bottom corner.
In the 34th minute, Carvalho doubled the lead when he volleyed a clever chip from Javi Elot past Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hain.
Arsenal pulled a goal back just before half-time when Kai Havertz scored from close range in the 40th minute.
There were plenty of changes in the first and second halves but Liverpool held on for victory at Lincoln Financial Field, giving new manager Ane Slot just his second win in two pre-season games.
The Reds remain in the United States to face rivals Manchester United in South Carolina on Saturday (12.30am UK time) before facing Sevilla at Anfield in their final pre-season game.
Arsenal's US tour has now concluded, with Mikel Arteta's side set to face Bayer Leverkusen and Lyon at the Emirates Stadium next week.
