Livingston 2 – 2 hearts

Hearts returned to the top of the Scottish Premiership but dropped what could have been a vital point in the title race at bottom-placed Livingston.

The Jambos were playing catch-up after Rangers’ win on Saturday and were stunned in the early opener when Livingston opened the scoring after just five minutes.

Lawrence Shankland, making his first start since January, equalized before half-time in poor weather that included a mix of snow and sunshine.

Hearts thought they had sealed the win against the relegation winners when Claudio Braga scored, but Lewis Smith struck to make it 2-2.

Marc Leonard brought down Robbie Muirhead in added time and the Hearts midfielder was shown a red card after a VAR check.

Derek McInnes’ side are one point adrift of Scottish Premiership leaders Rangers with six games remaining. Livingston are 11 points adrift of the bottom.
