Jeeno Thitikul cruised to a four-stroke victory on the final day of the Mizuho Americas Open in New Jersey.
Thitikul held a two-shot lead heading into Sunday and mixed four birdies and a bogey during a final-round 69 to edge her closest challenger, Ruoning Yin, by four strokes.
Yin started four back to reach a shot in three holes, chasing five birdies on the front nine, but when Thitikul birdied, she made bogey on the par-3 16th.
Thitikul added a birdie on the final hole to increase his winning margin to end the week at 13 under par. Yin finished the final round at 9 under with two bogeys, earning a solo second place finish despite a final round 69.
This win is Titi Cool’s ninth LPGA tour career and second of the season. She won the Honda LPGA Thailand in February, narrowing the gap with Nellie Korda and rising to number one in the world.
Alison Lee tied for third at 8 under par with Gaby Lopez and Jenny Bae, while Allisen Corpuz and Jenny Shin tied for seventh, two strokes behind.
Celine Boutier, who played in the final group with Thitikul, fell out of the chase with three bogeys and no birdies on the front nine, ultimately shooting a 3-over 75 to finish tied for 9th place.
Saki Baba recorded her first ace on the LPGA Tour, holing a 7-iron from 153 yards on the par-3 seventh hole.
