Luis Rubiales told the court that Spanish footballer Jenni Hermoso agreed before the 2023 Women’s World Cup finals.
Former president of the RFEF (Royal Spanish Football Federation) was accused of sexual assault and is being tried to tell Hermoso that a kiss was agreed.
Rubiales (47) said the player who presented the evidence was “absolutely convinced.” “At that moment, it was completely voluntary.”
The incident occurred at an event that gave medals after winning the Spanish World Cup in Australia, causing protests and demanding Ruby Alere. He denies criminal acts.
Rubiales described the kiss in the Spanish National Court in Madrid on Tuesday as “act of affection.”

“I kissed her because she knew her for many years and she was a champion. This was a tremendous moment for her. We were a champion.
“She squeezed me very hard with her waist and asked if she could kiss her. And she said.”
He added:
Rubiales questioned Hermoso about whether he asked for a kiss or a “small kiss.”

He also asked if he knew the protocol of sexual harassment and sexual violence.
Hermoso said that he had never received permission to get a kiss from the court before, and the case “I buried one of the happiest days in my life.”.

Rubiales was charged with assault on social media and asked the court to record the video at home, she told the court. She was threatened with death, urging her to move her family to Mexico.

All four defendants refuse to prosecute.
The prosecution is looking for two and a half years in prison for Rubiales. The trial that runs until February 19 will continue.
