Luke Littler reaches Australian Darts Masters quarter-finals, next faces Michael Smith on Saturday | Darts News

Luke Littler is in the quarter-finals of the Australian Darts Masters as he aims for an eighth PDC title this year.

The 17-year-old, who won the Premier League Darts title in 2024, beat local qualifier Rob Modra 6-2 in Wollongong to set up a quarter-final clash with Michael Smith on Saturday.

Modra missed a dart to level the score at 3-3 against Littler, costing the No. 1 seed his chance to compete for a third World Series title in 2024 after the Bahrain Masters and Poland Masters.

Smith had earlier claimed victory with a 6-2 win over Stuart Coburn, while world number one Luke Humphries claimed a routine victory with a 120-point checkout over Joe Comito, 6-1.
