Luke Littler admitted that he was practicing time ahead of the 2025 World Match Play ahead of a sensational 10-2 opening round victory with Ryan Searle.
Littler was made by Michael van gerwen in his 2024 BlackPool debut, but his show for ‘heavy metals’ was simply great. He had almost 109 average, 126 inspection and 5-0 white wash in his first session and sent a statement.
The ruling world champion is famous for its lack of practice on boards outside the tournament, and often does not throw darts between the stage.
But Littler said he was practicing “very hard” for world match play. He decided to add this major to the cabinet.
If he does so, he completes the darts of Phil Taylor, Michael Van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries, the previously completed world match play, world dart championship, and premier league.
Littler said, “It fits well tonight Sky Sports. “I just wanted that victory, I wanted to get that victory, and I did it. I can’t wait to get that victory, get it, and come back.”
“Regardless of whether I did well, I was satisfied with twice the performance, exchanging and changing to 16 with Double and 16.
“I didn’t have any way I practiced my teenagers, but 16 were there every time. It is always your heart to win the World Championship in Double 16.
“I felt very comfortable and I have been practicing too much. I have spent several hours and hours. I’m happy to pay for it.
“Now I have all the eyes. I will play the game with the game. I want to overcome it and finish it. I’m happy to win the first game and get that sense of victory.
“Practice, I have been doing so much since I came to the tour,” he added. “People will find that I’m not a practitioner, but I’m definitely practicing for this.”
The following is a conflict with Jermaine Wattimena in the second round after the Dutch Peter Wright.
Littler, famous for both players, is a fast -paced throw, knows that it is a suitable competition style for both games.
“He’s another fast player, so he will be very fast,” he added. “It will be suitable for all of us. I can’t wait to go back to the stage.”
