Luke Littler: World number two admits feeling ‘nervous’ and ‘shaky’ after being tailgated by photographers on motorway | dart news

Luke Littler admitted he felt ‘shaky’ and ‘nervous’ after being followed by photographers just two days after passing his driving test.

The world darts champion was driving to meet his girlfriend when he noticed paparazzi following him on the motorway.

“I got followed on Wednesday,” Littler said.

“I took the latest possible exit off the highway. I was too late and so was he.

“I think I made a U-turn about three times and he did the same.

“I was shaken and anxious. I was driving for two days and got tailed on the highway.”

On Monday, Littler posted a photo on Instagram showing off his new BMW and driver’s license with the caption, ‘Get innn, first time and no minors.’

However, the world No. 2 later revealed that the post was intended to prevent paparazzi from exploiting the situation to profit.

“So I posted the car so he couldn’t sell his pictures,” Litter said.

“I know it’s their job, but I’m nervous because they’re so busy following me on the highway.

“Yes, that’s why I posted the car so he couldn’t do anything about it.”

Littler’s focus will now turn to Wolverhampton’s Grand Slam of Darts live on Saturday afternoon. sky sports.

The 18-year-old will be hoping to retain his title after winning last year. A title lift would see him overtake Luke Humphries for the top spot on the PDC Order of Merit.
