Magnum Ice Cream Company’s Yasso is raising the bar for frozen novelties with the launch of new frozen Greek yogurt pints as the brand looks to capitalize on consumer demand for healthy delights.

Yasso, known for its low-calorie frozen treats, is launching Greek yogurt in 14-ounce containers. Each product contains up to 19 grams of protein and about 400 calories, all without artificial colors, flavors or sugar alcohols. Currently, the brand is sold in bars, pops, and sandwiches.

“This is a pivotal moment as we begin to expand our brand,” Lisa Vortsman, chief marketing and innovation officer for North America at The Magnum Ice Cream Company, said in an interview. “We think this is a huge opportunity and the consumer demand and current market trends are there.”

The frozen yogurt will be available exclusively at Target starting October 12th in five flavors – Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Fudge Brownie, Cookies & Cream, and Coffee Chip – with a nationwide rollout scheduled for next year.

Magnum is no stranger to frozen yogurt. The Ben & Jerry’s brand previously sold frozen yogurt, but has since discontinued it.
