Mali’s military Junta dissolved all parties of the country due to the crackdown on opposition after the military took over power.
According to the Presidential Law, which was read on Tuesday, the meeting of all political parties and political figures organizations are dissolved throughout the country.
In 2020 and 2021, the military leader, Assimi Goïta, who took power after the coup, was signed, and despite the pledge to hold an election, he must maintain power for at least five years.
This measure is expected to return to democratic rule by political parties who have demanded the state.
Since last year, the military has strengthened the crackdown on political activities.
Following the rare democratic protests last week, two opposition leaders were kidnapped by police officers by armed people. The authorities did not mention the reported arrest.
The national meeting organized by the regime last month recommended that it would name Goïta as president by 2030.
This measure was condemned by opposition figures and human rights groups. Junta was originally promised to hold an election in February 2022.
The president’s law warned Malians not to ignore the dissolution of the party and to briefly explain the punishment.
Anyone who plays political or administrative roles said, “You can continue your duty without a party.”
This command follows the suspension of all political activities (another recommendation of a national meeting).
The union of the White Party planned to protest against the departments last week, but postponed after the suspension of political activity.
Opposition leaders blamed the dissolution of the party.
Nouhoum Togo, the union chairman of the United States, posted on social media, said, “Even if they try to make you invisible, your value does not depend on their recognition.
Moussa Mara, former prime minister and leader of Elema Party, explained that Junta’s limitations were seriously hit by reconciliation efforts that started last year.
Analyst ULF LAESSING said military leaders of this country said, “We are responsible for independence and are trying to invade the elites that seem to be very close to all French colonies.
JUNTA leaders have alliances with their neighbors Burkina Faso and Niger’s coup leaders since they have taken power, and have greatly reduced their relationships with all colonial power France, and pivot the Russian region.
Goïta Gen also withdrew Mali from the Ecowas of the local group group about the demand to restore democratic rule. Burkina Faso and NIGER have also been grouped.
