Manny Pacquiao left the “two or three fights”, claiming the title of the WBC Welterweight World with Mario Barrios.
Pacquiao will fight Barrios in the MGM Grand Las Vegas on July 19 after allowing direct shots in the world title of Barrios in the WBC Guy comeback fight.
The age of 46 is back from four years of dismissal and becomes the oldest welterweight champion in boxing history and attempts to break his record.
Former Senator and Presidential Candidate from the Philippines failed to beat Keith Thurman with the box in 2019. His last fight recorded a sound loss with Yordenis Ugas in 2021.
He ran to regain his seats in the Senate this year, but quickly confirmed that he would be 18th in the midterm elections and then return to the ring.
Now, Pacquiao is “All in” and I think there is a “strength” to maintain boxing for the next few years.
Pacquiao said, “This fight is very important to me because it is a history. I believe it is the first honor to get another world title, and I also broke my own record as the oldest Welterweight World Champion.”
“When I retired in 2021, I was not feeling well because I had it in my heart. I still liked the heart and heart that I could fight. I always knew that I could work hard, devote myself and concentrate on training.
“I feel quickly and I feel like it still exists. I can still do what I did before in training. Whatever it is, our team is trying to slow down me and take enough rest. I want to push myself every day, but I know I’m listening to the team.
“I think there are two or three more fights, but I think I can do this for several years, but I take it one by one.
“Yordenis ugas was distracted and problems before fighting. But now I’m 100 %and I’m not distracted. I was only trained and completely focused on the fight.”
Interestingly, Conor Benn is deserved to challenge the winner of the Pacquiao-Barrios.
Benn was in the middleweight to Chris Eubank JR and is expected to re -play rivals later this year.
But even though it has not been boxed in the department for several years, he will not exclude him from the challenge of 147LBS’s WBC belt, despite his recent fight.
“He was ranked by the WBC, and the EUBANK was also ranked by the WBC, another weight category. It is up to him. (Ben) is up to him. Sky Sports.
