Microsoft is accelerating the driving force for competing with OpenAI, an old collaborator, by developing its own powerful AI model and exploring alternatives to power products such as Microsoft’s Copilot Bot.
Microsoft has developed its own AI “Inference” model that can compare with models such as O1 and O3-Mini of Openai. Openai rejected Microsoft’s request for technical details on O1’s operation.
Microsoft also developed an Openai itself’s Bloomberg report and a model product called MAI, which is competitive, and is considering providing it through the API later this year. Similar to these efforts, Microsoft is a possible alternative to Copilot’s OpenAI technology, and is testing alternative AI models of XAI, Meta, Anthropic and DeepSeek.
To date, Microsoft, which has invested in about $ 14 billion in Openai, has been hitting DEEPMIND and co -founder Mustafa Sunymman to hedge betting in various ways, such as drawing AI efforts of technology large companies.
