Nowadays, second hands are not only environmentally friendly, but they are also very popular with young people who are interested in nature and looking for something unique that will make them stand out from the crowd. I’ve been a huge fan of vintage and thrift stores since 2016. I’ve purchased a few things online and through apps like Poshmark. However, since moving to Europe I have come to enjoy visiting second hand stores as well as vintage markets where you can find many rare items from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Often at a good price.

Last year, I bought Chanel earrings at a Paris vintage market and a Chanel scarf online. I have a skirt and a few vintage bags that I bought while traveling in Europe. If you’re still not convinced that second-hand clothes can be good, save you money, and help the environment, we encourage you to think again!

I like to shop through Etsy (you can sometimes find great items), Vestiaire Collective (you can pay tax, authenticity, and shipping), and Poshmark (I’ve done a lot of shopping through Posh, but I don’t use it because I don’t live in the US). Also check out the Rebelle online store. I have no experience, but I’d like to hear your opinion. I’ve also seen a lot of people using the Vinted app. If you know more about second-hand shopping, please leave a comment below.
