The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said a woman suspected of carrying out a parcel bombing that injured a Ukrainian billionaire and his family in Monaco has been found dead.

A cross-border search has begun for Anastasiia Berezovska, a Ukrainian woman who fled the wealthy city-state on June 29 after planting a bomb in the foyer of an apartment building.

The 39-year-old’s body was found in Ukraine with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the SBU.

Two men, including a serving officer in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, have been detained on suspicion of murder.
