In fact, I tested it four times to include as many mixins as possible. As far as possible! I wanted it to feel like a breakfast twist on our family’s favorite spring dessert, carrot cake. Now that the recipe calls for 3 cups of carrots and 1 cup of apples, I can confidently say that it absolutely does.
