England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt has made history by becoming the first player to score 100 goals in the Tata Women’s Premier League (WPL).
Sciver-Brunt completed 100 off 57 deliveries to help Mumbai Indians post 199-4 against Royal Challengers Benglauru (RCB) at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium on Monday.
The 33-year-old has taken 16 wins and 1 loss with the Mumbai Indians and hit 16 fours and a maximum in his historic innings and formed a 129-run partnership with Hayley Matthews (56).
Sciver-Brunt started her century with a single in the final, breaking the previous WPL personal best score of 99 jointly held by Georgia Voll and Sophie Devine.
Voll’s unbeaten 99 came off 56 deliveries for RCB against UPW Women in March 2025, while Devine’s unbeaten came from 36 balls for Gujarat Giants against RCB during their debut campaign in the competition in 2023.
“Yeah, obviously we saw a few guys go out in the ’90s, so we didn’t want to repeat that,” Sciver-Brunt said after the inning. “But I also wanted to score as many points as possible for the team. I’m really happy that we were able to reach that total and I’m really happy personally.
“For me it was my first T20 1 (century) and I am so happy to have overcome what I consider to be a milestone. I hope it’s not the last!”
