Natural selection will start the Hoanib Elephant Camp in the remote Kao Coland area of Namibia in May 2026, offering the opportunity to observe the desert adapted elephant in one of the most solid landscapes in Africa.
The solar -based canvas camp has 10 large tents (8 twin rooms and 2 family units), each with a personal flank swimming pool, air conditioning and indoor and outdoor shower. The design of ecological consciousness integrates the swelled walls and insulated canvas roofs for natural climate control.
Located in the northwest of Namibia, the camp will be the basis for tracking the desert adaptation wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions and black rhinos. Additional activities include natural walking, visiting cultural visits to the HIMBA community, skeletal cost travel and star experience.
Camp facilities include the main lounge and restaurants, outdoor decks with swimming pools, wellness spas and fire pits. This accommodation is operated by 100% solar power using a complete water treatment system to minimize the environmental impact.
The Camp, which has established a partnership with the SESFONTEININININCYCY, directly supports various preservation initiatives, including the Black Rhino relocation program, a desert giraffe preservation and a desert lion’s initial warning conflict ease system, to reduce human acupuncture life conflict.
The fare is about $ 970 ~ $ 1,580 per night and the camp is operated all year round.
Natural selection operates Botswana, Namibia and South Africa, which focuses on conservation -oriented sightseeing, and operates safari camps and lodges across the country.
