Jenman African Safaris, a South African-based safari tour operator, has launched its first diving safari package, combining underwater exploration with a traditional wildlife safari. The new service aims to attract both experienced and beginner divers to African destinations.
Packages include diving opportunities in Madagascar, Tanzania and South Africa. Locations include the coral reefs of Madagascar, the ocean-rich waters around Mafia Island in Tanzania, and Sodwana Bay in South Africa. Participants can encounter a variety of marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, manta rays, and whale sharks.
Big Five Safari
In addition to the diving experience, the package includes land wildlife viewing. Travelers will have the opportunity to observe Africa’s Big Five on game drives between dive trips.
Jenman offers three package options:
• Madagascar Diving and Wildlife Adventure (9 days): From $2,360.00 per person. Includes diving in Nosy Sakatia and wildlife viewing in Andasibe Rainforest.
• Tanzania Diving and Wildlife Safari (8 days): From $4,629 per person. It features diving at Mafia Island and a safari in Nyerere National Park.
• Zululand Diving and Wildlife Safari (8 days): From $2,920. We offer diving at Sodwana Bay and game drives at Manyoni Private Game Reserve.
