
A woman in New Zealand was arrested after a two -year -old girl was found in a baggage while traveling on a bus.
The police said the police were called to the bus stop in Kaiwaka, a small village in the north, on Sunday after asking passengers to approach the luggage compartment.
The New Zealand police said in a statement, “I was worried when the driver found a bag moving. When the driver opened the bag, they found a two -year -old girl.”
A 27 -year -old woman was arrested and accused of sincere treatment/neglect of her child.
The police said, “The young girl was very hot, but it seemed physically safe.”
She added that she was taken to the hospital and was under medical evaluation.
The relationship between a woman and a child was not disclosed.
The woman will appear in the North Shore District Court on Monday.
The police said, “We knew that something was not right and I would like to recognize and compliment the bus driver who took immediate action.”
