North Korea has detained three shipyard management in an accident during a new warship on Wednesday, the media said.
At the launch event, some of the bottom of the 5,000 ton destroyer were crushed while the ship was balanced.
Investigation of the case that North Korean leader Kim Jong -un described as “criminal acts” is underway.
KCNA, the official telecommunications agency in North Korea, confirmed the chief engineers of the northern Chungjin Shipyard, the construction site and administrative manager of the northern Chungjin Shipyard.
The report said that three people were “responsible for thinking.”
KCNA said on Friday that the shipyard manager Hong Kil Ho was summoned by law executors.
The satellite image showed that the ship was placed next to a large blue tapo lin, and some of the ships seemed to be on the land.
North Korea’s state media did not mention casualties or injuries at the time and neglected damage.
KCNA reported that there was no hole in the floor of the ship.
“Hull starboard is scratched and a certain amount of seawater flowed into the stern,” the agency said.
Kim said on Thursday that it was caused by “absolute carelessness, irresponsibility and non -scientific empiricism.”
He added that people who made “irresponsible errors” will be handled at the next month’s meeting.
The punishment they can face is not clear, but the authoritarian state has a miserable human rights record.
It is rare for North Korea to openly disclose local accidents. Although I have done this several times in the past.
This special accident occurs a few weeks after North Korea’s release of a similar 5,000 ton destroyer, Choehon.
Kim said the warship was called “breakthrough” in the North Korean naval modernization and would be deployed early next year.
