Norwegian Sun to be relocated in 2025: Travel Weekly

Norwegian Cruise Line has suspended sailings on its Norwegian Sun for seven months in 2025 to reposition the ship.

The line has canceled Sun's sailings from March 28 to November 3. According to the route, any changes are being communicated to guests.

NCL declined to provide details about the relocation, but according to Cruise Mapper, the ship was scheduled to sail in the eastern Mediterranean early that spring, stopping at Israel and Turkiye before sailing to western Europe as the year progressed.

Due to the war between Israel and Hamas, which began on October 7, cruise ships have redeployed their vessels in the eastern Mediterranean.

Norway said it would soon announce Sun's new 2025 deployments.
