The federal judge permanently dismissed a criminal case against Eric Adams, New York City, a few weeks after the Trump administration ordered the prosecution to withdraw the charges.
This measure led to the resignation of Manhattan’s highest federal prosecutor who accused Adams for signing a contract with the Trump administration.
Judge Manhattan dismissed the incident as a prejudice. This means that the Ministry of Justice cannot revive allegations of Adams based on the same evidence.
ADAMS has been prosecuted as a bribery fee and bribery that requests conspiracy, fraud, and illegal campaign donation. He denied any fault.
ADAMS, which was accused in September, was claimed that Turkish citizens preferred a total of $ 100,000 (£ 75,000) of gifts.
Judge Dale Ho said in a Wednesday ruling that the Ministry of Justice did not oppose Adams’ consent for the permanent dismissal of the case.
Judge Ho said that in the future, the federal prosecution can revive the case, which depends on the ability to prioritize the immigration execution priority of the administration, and will be permanently dismissed because it will create an inevitable perception that it can be seen in the needs of the federal government than the wishes of their achievements.
