Former U.S. President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani met for the first time at an orphanage in the Bronx last Saturday and sang to preschool children.
Obama and Mamdani led the group to sing Wheels on the Bus, and the kids taught them soda pop from the K-pop movie Demon Hunters.
“You made the mayor feel really old.” Obama joked as the kids laughed.
“Between the singing wheels of the bus, we discussed our administration’s vision for this city where New York’s cutest people can get off to their strongest start,” Mamdani said of the meeting in an Instagram post.
