Oceania Vista will sail the world in 2026: Travel Weekly

Oceania's newest ship, Oceania Vista, is scheduled to sail its inaugural round-trip world cruise from Miami in 2026.

Vista's 180-day world cruise visits 101 ports in 43 countries. Bookings open March 13.

Debuting in May 2023, Vista served as the last song for the company’s founder and now-retired CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Frank Del Rio, who retired shortly after Vista set sail on its maiden voyage in the Mediterranean.

This cruise features over 80 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 11 nights of accommodation, complimentary selection of special onshore events, and optional multi-day land programs.

Vista departs Miami on January 6, 2026, sailing along the east coast of South America, then north along the west coast to Mexico and California. The ship will then sail north to San Diego before crossing the Pacific to French Polynesia and Australia, before continuing on to Southeast Asia and India.

Current plans call for the Vista to sail through the Red Sea and Suez Canal, then across the Mediterranean, the British Isles and Northern Europe before returning to Miami along the U.S. East Coast.

This itinerary was planned on the assumption that the Red Sea is safe for cruise traffic. Since the Houthi rebels in Yemen attacked ships late last year, many cruise lines and shipping companies have decided to avoid the area.

Guests can choose from a short 120-day cruise from San Diego to Miami or a long 197-day cruise from Los Angeles to Miami.
