Oh Where You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss is my favorite holiday tradition

Teacher's Note Oh, where are you going?

If you’re a Dr. Seuss fan, pay attention! You will love these souvenir ideas.

To get started, we recommend getting a hardcover book of Oh the Places You’ll Go for each child! Snag products on sale now:

At the end of each school year, give your child’s teacher a Dr. Ask your child to write a short note or reflection about him or her inside the cover of Dr. Seuss’ popular children’s book, Oh, the Places You’ll Go. This will start to look like a yearbook over the years, except it is written by a teacher, coach, educator, or staff member who has made a positive impact.

I am Dr. I started this idea for my Seuss-loving kindergarten kids, and it’s cute to see how excited they are each year to read what their teacher wrote. We moved around a little bit and I will never forget it because it was fun to see teachers from different schools. Honestly, this book is now a truly special piece of memory.

Even during COVID, I recorded a few emails sent to teachers when they couldn’t sign at the end of the year. ❤️

Oh, Where You’re Going would make a great graduation gift for all ages!

Are there any graduates graduating from kindergarten, high school, or even college this year? Including a book of Oh, Where You Will Go with an encouraging message is a thoughtful gift idea.

Dr. The Seuss story itself is an inspiring message about boosting confidence, anticipating life’s adversity, and overcoming obstacles! If it’s not already included in your library, I highly recommend it.

This special Dr. Here’s what Seuss books mean to our team:

“I received a book from my uncle when I graduated from high school. He wrote me a lovely letter with a pun that only I could understand. It was also the last book my grandmother read to me in the hospital before she died. She barely spoke or read English, but somehow she read it perfectly. I’m considering getting my book framed.” Krystal, hipside kick

“I received a copy of my high school graduation from my family, and it was a really thoughtful gift. I was getting ready to leave on my own for college over 1,500 miles away, and I looked back at the book and re-read the notes she wrote several times during the first few weeks I was gone. It was like having support at home. I’ve given it as a gift myself a few times since. My college students are still young, and I feel like I share that encouragement with them at a “kid’s group.” The “book” format helps bridge the gap between children and adults in a fun way. “It helps.” Hipside kick Lisa
