One Nature Mara River, a new luxury lodge in the Serengeti in northern Tanzania, is taking bookings ahead of its June opening. Located near the Mara River, the lodge features just seven villas, including a spacious family villa designed to accommodate up to six guests.
Each villa features a private deck, heated pool, indoor and outdoor showers, luxury private bathroom and views of the surrounding wilderness. The villa also features solar air conditioning, an in-room bar, a refrigerator and a fireplace for cozy nights.
Facilities at One Nature Mara River include a restaurant and bar, guest lounge, gym, outdoor cinema, boma area for a traditional dining experience, trading post and gaming area. In-room spa treatments are also available.

Activities at the lodge include safari game drives, walking safaris, balloon safaris, bush breakfast and dinner, intimate private dinners and VIP sunsets.
The lodge can be reached by light aircraft to Kogatende airstrip and then a 30-minute drive away. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to get from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha. The connecting flight from Arusha Airport to Kogatende Airstrip is 1 hour. Direct flights are also available from Dar es Salaam's Julius Nyerere Airport to Kogatende Airfield.
The minimum recommended age for children at time of booking is 2 years. The lodge will be a new addition to the One Nature portfolio of hotels and resorts, joining the existing One Nature Nyaruswiga in the heart of the Serengeti.
