An explosion near Pakistan’s main airport has killed one person and injured six, officials said.
The explosion occurred near Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Sunday night.
It was reported that this sound was heard throughout the city and that nearby vehicles were damaged.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known, but Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linzar told GEO News that it was suspected to be an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack.
