DUBAI – Fiji Airways has become a full member of the oneworld alliance.
The South Pacific airline, which flies to 26 destinations in 15 countries and territories, has been a member of the Oneworld Connect alliance since 2018. Integration work is now underway in Fiji and is expected to be completed within a year.
“It has always been our goal to achieve full membership,” Fiji CEO Andre Viljoen told a press conference at the IATA Annual General Meeting in Dubai on Monday.
Fiji Airways passengers who are Oneworld Connect members and hold Oneworld Emerald, Sapphire or Ruby tier status will enjoy priority check-in, while Emerald and Sapphire tier passengers will enjoy priority boarding and access to the Fiji Lounge at the airline’s hub in Nadi.
