
Onguma Private Game Reserve, bordering Etosha National Park in Namibia, offers a So-Low Safari package that waives the single surcharge during the off-season (1 December to 30 June, excluding Christmas and Easter). introduced. The proposal aims to make Onguma more accessible to individual travellers.
The off-season offers many advantages to travelers, including fewer crowds, better weather, and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, especially around watering holes.
Namibia is considered a safe destination for solo travelers, with good roads for self-driving adventures and English being widely spoken.
Travelers can choose from five Onguma camps, all offering views of the floodlit waterholes. Guided game drives within the 84,000-acre private reserve allow you to spot four of the Big Five (but no Cape buffalo) both day and night. You can also book day trips to Etosha National Park. Dining options range from private in-suite dining to communal dining. Some camps also have private hot tubs or plunge pools.
So-Low Safari offer applies to stays of 2 nights or more at Onguma Bush Camp, Onguma Forest Camp, Onguma Tented Camp, Onguma The Fort and Onguma Camp Kala.
