In a letter to Canadian officials Thursday written by OpenAI’s vice president of global policy and shared with media outlets, OpenAI said it has implemented a series of changes in recent months, including enlisting the help of “mental health and behavioral experts” to evaluate cases and making the criteria for referrals to police “more flexible.”
