Tiktok has to complete the sale to US -based buyers by April, but there is uncertainty about the future of the short type video app.
However, there is a new report that suggests that Oracle is a major candidate who acts as a cloud technology partner for managing Tiktok in the United States.
Investors, bankers, and former executives who are familiar with Tiktok’s parent, BYTEDANCE, told Autlet that the company prefers Oracle over other cloud providers. Since 2022, Tiktok can use the Oracle server to save US users’ data and become an option for this transaction.
This report suggests that Bytedance still wants to play a practice role in Tiktok’s operation and want to make Oracle a partner.
Trump also supported Oracle’s role in this contract.
Oracle did not respond to the request.
