
Pakistan has downgraded the central contracts of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Test Capain Shan Masood.
Baba and Lizwan, who were left in the T20 International Asia Cup’s squad from September 9 to 28, were relegated to category B in band A.
Pakistan’s director Mike Hesson recently said that Babar, who had not been T20I since December 2024, said, “It has been called for improvement in some regions in terms of spin and strikes.”
A series of contracts that run until June 30, 2026, no players were deployed in categories.
After Pakistan finished the bottom of the 2023-25 World Test Championship, Masood fell to the lowest layer in Band B.
Masood led his country with a 2-1 victory in England in October, but they won 2-0 in South Africa.

Seam Bowler Naseem Shah fell from category B to category C, but upgrades from C to B include leg spinner shadab khan, Abrar Ahmed and fast bowling player Haris Rauf.
