The move comes as Isla Mujeres continues to emerge as one of the fastest-growing luxury destinations in the wider Caribbean basin, especially for travelers looking for a more comfortable alternative to Cancun’s hotel zone.
Posadas said the expansion is part of a broader strategy focused on travelers seeking increasingly personalized and experience-driven vacations.

Posadas has already been released Sunvivia by Fiesta Americana As Caribbean Journal previously reported, there is a greater emphasis on family travel and wellness programs in Mazatlan.
Combined, the new resorts will increase the company’s room inventory by about 7%, it said.
This expansion comes as Mexico continues to see strong tourism momentum, particularly in Caribbean regions such as Cancun, Costa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres, where luxury resorts and all-inclusive hotels continue to expand at a rapid pace.
Posadas also said it is preparing to launch 25 new guest experiences across its portfolio in the coming months, including culinary programming and cultural tours designed to meet the growing demand for more personalized travel experiences.
The biggest story is Isla Mujeres. Luxury hotel development continues to accelerate as more visitors look beyond Cancun to smaller resorts and quieter beach destinations with easier access to the water.
