Putin ‘Back on World Stage’ in Victory Day Parade

President Vladimir Putin led the Russian victory day from Red Square to Parade, with a high security following Ukrainian strike in Moscow.

China’s XI Jinping joined the Russian president to thousands of soldiers that Russia remembered the lessons of World War II.

He also used his speech to tie the war with today’s Ukrainian invasion, and Russia said four years have passed since all Russia called “special military operations.”

Vitaly Shevchenko, an editor of the BBC monitoring, reflects the day event.
