Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to plant its flag in Tokyo.
Scheduled to open in 2028, the hotel will be part of the redevelopment of the Tokyo World Trade Center (WTC) in Tokyo’s Hamamatsucho district. Raffles Tokyo will occupy the top 46 floors of the building and feature 130 rooms, including 27 suites.
The site also features six food and beverage outlets, a fitness studio, a swimming pool, spa and bathhouse. There is 12,400 square feet of meeting and event space.
Part of the Accor brand portfolio, Raffles currently has more than 20 properties worldwide. The luxury brand made its first foray into the United States last year with the opening of Raffles Boston.
