Railbookers has put together a list of itineraries for avid rail travellers to explore around the world in 2024.
Around the World by Luxury Train is an 80-day journey across four continents and 13 countries. Guests will visit more than 20 cities on seven luxury rail services: Rocky Mountaineer in Canada, Belmond Royal Scotsman in Scotland, Venice-Simplon Orient Express and Golden Eagle Danube Express in Europe, Maharajas' Express in India, Rovos Rail in South Africa, and Eastern & Oriental Express in Southeast Asia.
The trip departs August 28. Prices start at $113,599 per person.

Travelers can experience the entire 80-day journey or book shorter segments of the journey. The trip includes hotel accommodations, sightseeing, and transfers between train journeys. Air travel between destinations is the responsibility of the traveler.
Around the World by Luxury Train starts in Vancouver and continues to European cities including Budapest, Edinburgh, Florence, London, Paris, Rome and Venice. From Europe, it travels to India, South Africa and Southeast Asia before ending in Singapore.
