By now you’ve probably seen TikTok videos about the food at Coachella. Most videos highlight how expensive meals are. And I definitely agree that snacks are quite expensive. But as an attendee of RevolveFest (an influencer and celebrity hotspot where the food is free) and the main festival, I will defend the fact that you can get some pretty good food, even if the prices skyrocket.
The California-based music festival offers everything you can imagine: cocktails (featuring brands like Aperol and Absolut Vodka), desserts like ice cream and Italian Ice, pizza, sushi, burgers, barbecue, sandwiches, ramen, hot dogs, poke, tacos, and more. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Vendors range from historic Los Angeles-based restaurants (hello, Irv’s Burgers and Sweetfin) to national favorites like Dave’s Hot Chicken.
If you’re planning on watching the show from the comfort of your couch, you can actually enjoy some festive food right at home. Keep scrolling to see what my friends and I were eating this Coachella season and how you can recreate the recipe at home with just a few ingredients.
El Pollo Loco Chicken Tenders

The fast food chain recently tested chicken tenders seasoned with Mexican spices and we really liked the taste. Make your own using Tyson’s All Natural Crispy Chicken Strips (if you’re looking to avoid making them from scratch), chili powder, and your favorite mayonnaise-based sauce.
meat barbecue tacos
We stopped at a taco truck founded by Korean-American chef Roy Choi and tried spicy pork tacos. Recreate this mouth-watering meal with pork, tortillas, shredded lettuce, and Korean barbecue sauce. Or make your own at home with this delicious recipe.
How Ya Dough’n Pizza
Revolve’s festival featured gourmet pizza from How Ya Dough’n, while Coachella Field featured Prince St. It featured popular East Coast hotspots like Pizza. No matter how you slice it, pepperoni pizza was on the menu. Grab some pizza dough, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni on your way home to recreate this meal yourself.
Irv’s Burger Cheeseburger
Okay, a cheeseburger and fries may not be groundbreaking, but it certainly makes for an appetizing meal (especially when you’ve spent a hot day in the sun watching your favorite artist without much food!). Recreate this American classic with ground beef, sliced American cheese, and hamburger buns in the fridge.
