Italian fashion brand Etro eschews escapist vibes with its Resort 2021 collection.
Let’s face it, we’re all dreaming on a faraway shore right now. And Italian fashion house Etro has given us a brief escape with its dreamy Resort 2021 collection presented in Milan.
Showcasing the Men’s Spring Summer ’21 and Women’s Resort ’21 collections at an informal gathering held at the luxury Four Seasons hotel in Milan, guests were taken on a whimsical international journey through versatile and evocative fashions that highlighted ETRO’s inspiration from the world of travel.
Essentials have been reorganized. Stripes, madras checks and the iconic paisley motif add a unique and bold feel to this feminine maxi dress that can be worn comfortably with a shirt, deconstructed suit or flats.
Vintage ties complement the overall carefree elegance. The jacquard cardigan is stylishly tied at the waist and worn with an embroidered belt and plissé skirt. Exquisite intarsias decorate denim shirts and suede jackets, while floral camouflage patterns cover Bermuda trousers and lightweight field jackets.
The overall look is not burdensome. A touch wild thing. A bit sporty-chic.
ETRO travelers will explore the world in 2021 with foldable totes made from archival materials and cross-body pouches featuring the brand’s signature paisley motif. They will discover new horizons through the colorful lenses of the new ETRO x CARRERA COLLECTORS EDITION glasses. These glasses are a unisex reinterpretation of Carrera’s iconic Champion Aviator style dating back to the ’80s and come in a summer color palette of Lemon Yellow, Intense Red, Candy Pink, Forest Green, Night Blue, and Shiny Black.
