A UK company has been fined for food safety failures following a 2024 salmonella outbreak.
Bracknell Tangs Management, operator of Tangs Oriental Buffet Restaurant in Bracknell, pleaded guilty to four food safety offenses at Reading Magistrates Court in April and was fined £25,000 ($34,000). The company was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £10,000 ($13,600) and costs of almost £10,000.
