
Marriott International has announced plans to expand its presence in Beijing, opening new Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Marquis hotels.

The two hotels are scheduled to open in 2026 and will be part of the city's China National Convention Center Phase 2 complex.
The 8.4 million-square-foot project, which expands a facility that was used as part of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, will ultimately consist of a hotel, conference and event space, retail, recreational facilities and offices.
The 282-room Ritz-Carlton Beijing North in the complex will feature six restaurants, an indoor pool, a fitness center, a Ritz-Carlton Spa, and conference and event space. It will be the third Ritz-Carlton in Beijing, joining the Ritz-Carlton Beijing and the Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street.
Beijing Marriott Marquis Hotel will be the first Marriott Marquis hotel in Beijing. The 671-room hotel will feature multiple culinary concepts including an all-day restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby bar and lounge, and additional amenities include a swimming pool and fitness center, an executive club lounge, and conference, event and meeting space.
