Russian airstrike kills 8 people in Zelenskiy's hometown – Ukrainian official

At least eight people were killed and 21 wounded in a Russian missile attack in the southern Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, local officials said.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko said two children were among those injured in an attack on a residential building on Wednesday. Another four people went missing.

Emergency services, police and volunteers are currently searching the wreckage. Search dogs were called to the scene.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not commented publicly on reports of an airstrike on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's hometown.
